Vincent VeenenbergMarketing & Communications

We are looking for franchisees

In brief, we are looking for people who want to start their own business independently, but under our banner.
This means that you are personally responsible for your own region and develop your own client portfolio within this (sales and margin).

Who are we looking for?

Object&co is looking for serious and driven candidates who want to develop their own business in the second/third career phase of their lives (or who have lots of passion as an entrepreneur). We have learnt from experience that it takes three to five months before a 70% level of potential sales can be achieved.

This makes this opportunity ideal for candidates who are currently unemployed and who want to take the helm again as a freelancer. The UWV (Employee Insurance Agency) has a fantastic scheme for those starting out as a freelancer and for compensating the start-up costs (losses) incurred during the 26-week start-up trial period for freelancers.

What will you be doing?

As a franchisee at Object&co, you will take photographs, measurements, record videos and so on, on behalf of estate agents or parties involved with property. View our range of services to gain a good idea of this.

How will you be supported?

Object&co provides all kinds of back office services to regional freelancers such as: invoicing, credit control and recovery, drafting and drawing of 2D and 3D floor plans, drawing up and producing NEN 2580 measurement reports, realisation and delivery of marketing and sales materials, national promotion, product development etc.

What do you need?

  • Professional Nikon/Canon/Sony/Pentax camera (~EUR 3500)
  • Measuring equipment (~EUR 250)
  • Powerful PC/Mac, printer and scanner plus a large screen (photo editing) (~EUR 2500-3500)
  • Software (~EUR 1000)
  • Oh yes, and don’t forget that fast internet connection!

Object&co is able to partially pre-finance the investments (entrance fees) and offset them against the delivered service fee. Object&co also provides all the support you need in terms of business plans, financial models, acquisition, training and managing your own business (accounts, VAT returns etc.).

Your profile

  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Commercial experience in sales and customer relations.
  • Intermediate (MBO)/higher (HBO) vocational education, preferably also with a technical focus, such as architecture or energy engineering, i.e. not including photography training colleges or photo academies.
  • A passion for professional photography (high-quality interior photos are a must for our customers).
  • Good skills in working with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom etc.
  • Self-discipline and suitable for working with a large degree of freedom.
